Abstract
While AMH has been identified as an autocrine and paracrine regulator of steroidgenesis in granulosa cells and leydig cells, little is known regarding the effects of AMH on theca cells. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of AMH on theca cell activity. We hypothesized that AMH would be a potent stimulator of theca cell androgen biosynthesis.
