Abstract

A clinical application of a new technology of monosegmental and bisegmental anterior interbody metal-ceramic spondylodesis with help of cervical plates, which have an original topography of their contact surface, and porous aluminum-oxide ceramic implants was analysed for surgical treatment of diseases and injuries of the cervical spine. The above technology is highly effective and makes it possible to achieve positive clinical effects, normal sagittal craniocervical balance and reconstruction of the cervical sagittal contour.
