The results showed that adolescents had a higher self-confidence score (Md = 5.00), followed by cognitive anxiety (Md = 3.20) and somatic anxiety (Md = 2.83). Regarding burnout, score a higher was observed in the reduced sense of dimension of accomplishment (Md = 2.83), followed by the dimensions of physical and emotional exhaustion (Md = 2.50) and sports devaluation (Md = 2.14) . No significant difference was found (p> 0.05) found when comparing the dimensions of pre-competitive anxiety and burnout according to the time of practice (Table 3). It was concluded that age and time of practice were not involved in the symptoms of pre-competitive anxiety and burnout of adolescents participating in the School Games.
