Abstract
The angular energy distributions of fast neutrons beyond iron shields were measured. The experimental results are compared with calculation by the Monte Carlo method and with multi-group calculations by the ‘transmission matrix’ method in the 2 P 7 approximation. Satisfactory agreement is noted between experiment and calculation both as regards absolute value and the form of the angular spectra.
