Abstract

The possibility of using temperature-dependent angle-resolved-photoemission data to derive an effective ${\mathrm{\ensuremath{\alpha}}}^{2}$F for high-temperature superconductors via a Nambu-Eliashberg inversion is investigated. On analyzing data of Dessau et al. on Bi 2:2:1:2, we find a sharp bosonic peak at low energy (at approximately 10 meV).
