Abstract

Cultural heritage plays a domain role in understanding the past civilization. Such cultural heritage needs to be monitored regularly. Angkor Wat is one such cultural heritage site which is built by Khmer Civilization in 12th century. In this study Angkor Wat is monitored by Sentinel -1 C band data for a period of 4 years from 2017 to 2021. This study uses advance interferometry such as Persistent Scatter Interferometry Synthetic radar (PSInSAR) to monitor the deformations in Angkor Wat. This study uses 49 scenes of Single look complex images from 2017 to 2021 and found that the temple is stable from 2017 to 2021 with some minor subsidence in the central tower.
