Abstract

A Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET) is a collection of mobile nodes that can communicate with each other using wireless links without utilizing any fixed based station infrastructure and centralized management. In the present advanced technology there are many developments in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANET) protocols. There are different Quality-of-Service (QoS) parameters analyzed the performance of MANET. Here we discuss the performance and comparison of different routing protocols such as AODV, DSDV, AOMDV and DSR over responsive flow (TCP) and unresponsive flow (UDP). To analyze the performance of routing protocols in MANET based on the basis of different simulation parameters like throughput, packet drop, end to end delay, residual energy and packet delivery ratio (PDR). The comparison has been done for increasing number of nodes having a fixed terrain area. All Simulations are done using network simulator (NS-2).
