Abstract

Abstract The output current and voltage characteristic for constant switching frequency is found as an elliptical curve for the inductively coupled parallel resonant converter operated in the continuous conduction mode. The phase difference between the input square-wave voltage and the output square-wave current which excite the resonant tank is used as the parameter to plot the output characteristic. The load line can be superimposed on the output characteristic to determine the operating point and the value of the associated parameter, which can be used to plot the resonant-lank waveforms.
