Abstract
To search desirable energy pricing strategy that gives incentives both of energy consumers and suppliers to reduce environmental impact in urban area where district heating and cooling (DHC) is introduced, a case study, regarding energy pricing, and impact on environment, was performed with linear programming models. Energy supply from DHC, energy purchase from outside of the area, capacity and operational strategies of energy equipment such as air-conditioner, are determined by the models with annual disbursement and CO/sub 2/ emission minimized. The analysis of the effect of energy pricing on energy demand and supply and environmental impact was performed.
