Abstract

The chief task of public crisis prevention is to forestall crisis and reduce losses. As an important part of public governance, non-government organizations should play an active part in the prevention of public crisis in combination with their own advantages. The paper is intended to make explorations from the advantages and limitations of non-governmental organizations' participation in public crisis prevention in China so as to provide a theoretical basis for establishing a mechanism in which non-governmental organizations participate in crisis prevention.
