Abstract

When the distribution transformer works, the loss formed in the winding and iron core will spread to the surrounding air after the transmission of transformer oil and transformer tank, and cause temperature rising. With the growth of power demand, the overheating problem of distribution transformer becomes worse and worse, which reduces operation economy and brings potential safety hazard. In this paper, the transformer tank is subdivided into a composite structure of metal material and anti-corrosive coating material. Starting from the heat transmission process of transformer, the influence of anti-corrosive coating on the heat dissipation of distribution transformer is analyzed in detail. By experiments the effect of high thermal conductivity anti-corrosive coating on the heat dissipation efficiency of distribution transformer is verified. The conclusion shows that improving the heat transfer performance of anti-corrosive coating material will effectively improve the overall heat dissipation efficiency of distribution transformer. It will provide a new idea to study the temperature rise of distribution transformer.
