Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of elementary school teachers’ professional duties during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research type is quantitative with data collection methods using a scale of task implementation with data sources for teachers and school principals, peers. The research population was teachers in elementary schools in Ngaglik sub-district, Sleman Yogyakarta, with 43 schools. The data analysis technique in this study was descriptive statistical data analysis. The data obtained is quantitative in the form of a percentage of elementary school teachers’ professional duties in Ngaglik sub-district, Sleman Yogyakarta. The results showed that the achievement of the implementation of the professional duties of teachers during the Covid 19 pandemic, which was carried out by using an online system of achievements with the data source of the teacher concerned in educational activities was 89.18%, teaching: 78.72%, guiding: 72.90%, directing: 78.72%, training: 72.67%, assessing: 77.79%, evaluating: 82.32%. The lowest aspect of task implementation, which was performed by the teacher, is training. Implementation of teacher professional duties with the principal’s data source achieved by educating: 93.4375%, teaching: 84.21875%, guiding: 82.34%, directing: 85.47%, training: 81.40%, assessing: 85.46%, evaluating: 88.43% and the lowest aspect that the teacher does is training.
