Abstract
In 1863, The violin and orchestra piece “Introduction and Rondo Capricioso” was created by French Romantic composer: Charles·Camille·Saint-Saëns. It is a violin and orchestra piece written for Spanish violin master Pablo·de·Sarasate, who first appeared as Saint-Saëns. The piece was first performed by Sarasate under the direct command of Saint-Saëns in 1865 and is the most popular of his small musical works. It was later adapted by George Bizarre as a violin and piano accompaniment. The version played and the double piano version adapted by Debussy were played the most frequently. This article mainly analyzes the style characteristics and composition techniques of the piece, in order to achieve a point to surface approach, while summarizing, absorbing, borrowing, and innovating, and further deepening the understanding of the work and elevating one’s own creative skills.
