Analysis of relationship between characteristics of foreigners staying in Korea and Criminal Victimization

Abstract

이 연구의 주제는 국내 체류 외국인들의 인적 특성에 따른 범죄 피해 요인에 대한 것이다. 외국인들의 인적 특성과 범죄 피해 형태, 범죄 유형에 따라 달라지는 다문화 사회 구성원의 특성을 연구하는 것이다. 이 연구의 목적을 좀 더 구체적으로 들어보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화 사회의 범죄 특성과 유형, 범죄 피해에 대해 이론적으로 정리한다. 둘째, 범죄 피해를 당한 경험이 있는 범죄 피해자의 인적 특성, 피해 유형, 피해경위 등에 대해 분석한다. 셋째, 다문화 사회 범죄 특성과 피해자 사례를 심도 있게 분석함으로써 향후 범죄 예방과 피해자 치유 방안에 대해 강구한다. 이 논문은 범죄학적 측면에서 다문화 사회의 범죄 특성과 범죄 피해자에 관한 이론적 발전에 기여할 수 있다. 아울러 다문화 사회의 범죄 특성을 잘 분석해냄으로서 범죄 예방에 기여할 수 있다. 또 범죄 피해자들에 대한 치유 방안을 강구하는데 기여할 수 있다.The subject of this study is about factors for criminal victimization which are depending on foreigners human characteristics. And this study focuses on Foreigners human characteristics and the form of criminal victimization, multicultural society members characteristics depending on the types of crimes. The purpose of this study can be described concretely as follows. First, to theoretically organize the characteristics and types of crimes and criminal victimization in the multicultural society. Second, to analyze a crime victim s personal characteristics, damage pattern, details of the damage. Third, to devise measures for crime prevention and the method of cure for crime victims by deeply analyzing characteristics of crimes in multicultural society and cases of criminal victimization. This thesis can contribute to theoretical development about characteristics of crimes and crime victims in multicultural society from the viewpoint of criminology. In addition to this, this can contribute to crime prevention by analyzing well the characteristics of crimes in multicultural society. And this also helps to devise the method of cure for crime victims.
