Abstract

The steady state scattering response of nonlinearly loaded antenna array is analyzed in the frequency domain. The problem is equivalent to a nonlinear circuit problem with the circuit parameters of the antenna element obtained by the moment method. This equivalent nonlinear circuit is then solved using the reflection algorithm. In dealing with array mutual coupling effects, the infinite periodic structure Green's function is applied to simplify the analysis. The analysis is self-start and naturally convergent, since it needs no initial guess solution and derivative operation in the iteration procedure. It has no limitations on the nonlinearity of the loaded circuit element, and is especially suitable for large periodic antenna array.
