Abstract

Objective To discuss the causes of postoperative arrhythmia patients with thoracic tumor and to explore the preventive and therapeutic measures. Methods A retrospective data of 551 patients with thoracic tumor was analyzed. Results There were 86 cases suffering postoperative arrhythmia, among which the incidence was 10.4% below 60 years old and 20.6% above. The incidence of those with preoperative cardiovascular diseases was 56.4%,of those with mediastinum tumor was 16.6%.The incidence of those with lung cancer was 12.5%,individually 20.5% for those receiving total pneumonectomy,10.6% for pulmonary lobectomy, and 8.5% for wedge-shape escision of lung.Of those with esophageal tumor the incidence was 23.5%,individually 22.0% for those receiving ccrvical anastomosis, and 15.3% for intrathoracic anastomosis Besides, the incidence of those with cardiac cancer was 20.1%.Conclusions Postoperative arrhythmia on patients with thoracic tumor is intimately correlated with the age, concurrent preoperative cardiovascular diseases, surgical methods and imraoperative conditions. It's feasible to prevent and reduce the incidence of postoperative arrhythmia by sufficient preoperative preparation, intensive postoperative custody and corrective anoxia.
