Abstract

The work analyzed adaptive suspensions of various automobile manufacturers that allow to evaluate passive safety, smoothness of movement, adaptation to the road surface and control of body position. A complex scheme with sensors, cameras and control units located throughout the body is used to receive and process information. This article presents the latest developments in the segment of automotive systems and gives examples of the implementation of adaptive suspensions for production cars. The passive safety of the car was separately analyzed using the capabilities of the adaptive suspension control system for better distribution of kinetic energy in the event of a side impact.
