Abstract
In the current era, the development of digital technology is very rapid, an example is the presence of social media. The presence of social media itself immediately makes it an inseparable aspect of human life, with all the positive impacts it provides. However, this is also inseparable from the various kinds of negative impacts contained in it, one of which is also related to the rise of hate speech on various social media such as YouTube. Social media can be used as a tool that has a function to convey someone's opinion, so that opinions from users often cross reasonable limits and are based on hatred. Most social media users are aware of this but they are indifferent when they see someone expressing their hatred which can be related to religion and political views. But this indifferent attitude is shown because they are not part of the group or supporters of the target in the form of hate speech.
