Abstract

Occupational safety and health is often ignored in construction activities in which in 2017 according to BPJS Labor has occurred in case of accident cases as many as 123,041 cases, and in 2018 increased to 173,105 cases. Such improvement has been proven that the application of occupational safety and health is necessary by analyzing the risks. As in the construction project Pelita Sukabumi where the project is using several heavy equipment and must involve many workers to accelerate its development. The development of Pasar Pelita has the area and the level of the building is quite high of course with the condition of the workers have a high potential danger such as falling from height, material and equipment. This research aims to determine the potential danger and risk level of danger arising at the time of development is implemented, namely by using method Hazard and Operablity Study (HAZOP) Where this method is used to prevent and Potential hazards that will occur in each job. From the analysis of occupational safety and health risks conducted in the project development of Pelita Sukabumi in the market can be 43 potential hazards where 6 hazard findings with extreme risk levels such as the breaking tower, workers are overtaken by falling materials And workers fall out of height while hazard findings with high levels of risk can be 13 hazard findings such as material and falling tool, concrete mold collapsed, formwork collapsed, workers stepping on sharp materials such as spikes, hit by excavator tools and heavy equipment to interrupt workers and communities around the project, the level of risk is being gained 12 hazard findings, while for low risk level, there are 13 hazard findings. Risk control used is Elimination, Subtitution, Engineering Control, Administrative and Personal Protective Equipment.
