Sharia Bank is a financial institution tasked with collecting funds and distributing funds as well as providing other services based on the principles of partnership, fairness, transparency and universality as well as conducting banking business activities based on sharia principles. The development of Islamic banks is currently quite fast, but lately Islamic bank customers have different perceptions of Islamic banking, where some people hear about news or issues circulating about the perception of public figures who say that Islamic banks still use the principle of usury. which is a benchmark for some people and raises its own doubts about saving in Islamic banks, this is caused by several factors. First, the lack of socialization carried out by Islamic banks. Second, the lack of understanding of public figures regarding the system and objectives of Islamic banking itself.
The formulation of the problem in this research is how is the perception of community leaders in increasing people's interest in saving?
This type of research is a field research (field research), and is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study state that the perception of public figures in increasing public interest in saving in Islamic banks is in the Good category. Good category, customers already understand what Islamic banking is like, customers already know Islamic banks and not a few customers who already understand Islamic banking, and the public confirms that there are issues circulating in the community where public figures still have the assumption that Islamic banks are no different from conventional banks, while the issue of usury on people's interest in saving Islamic banks is in the medium category, meaning that the issue of usury circulating among the public has quite an impact on people's perceptions, therapy does not have much impact on people's interest in saving.

In this research, the author will analyse the factors that influence people's interest in saving in Islamic banks, especially in the regions. Some of the factors to be analysed include financial literacy, trust level, location, income, and perception of profit sharing. Therefore, innovation in Islamic banking services, including the provision of mobile banking applications that comply with sharia principles, can be one of the effective strategies to increase the attractiveness and interest of the public in saving at Islamic banks. This research adopts a mixed approach, which includes both qualitative and quantitative methods, to explore the impact of financial literacy, trust, and perceived profit sharing on interest in saving in Islamic banks. This approach was chosen in order to gain a deeper understanding of the factors that influence interest in saving in Islamic banks. This research reveals that financial literacy and location have no significant effect on people's interest in saving in Islamic banks. In contrast, factors such as public trust, income, and perception of the profit-sharing system show a positive and significant influence. These findings suggest that in order to increase interest in saving in Islamic banks, financial institutions need to focus more on building public trust as well as providing a deeper understanding of the products and services they offer.

People's preference for saving in islamic banks can be determined by how much they know or understand about islamic banks and services, as well as how easily they can access islamic banking, and how much this influences their interest in Bacan District. Multiple linear regression has been used to determine the impact of knowledge on people's interest in saving money at islamic banks there. The findings revealed that the knowledge component (P1), which had a probability value of 0.00%, had a substantial impact. The study's findings on the service variable (P2) indicate that there is a lack of public interest in saving in islamic banks, with a likelihood value of 0.87%. The findings disprove the idea that low public interest in saving at islamic banks is a result of poor service. According to earlier research by Maysaroh (2014), location factors have a significant impact on customers' decisions, however the impact is not very strong. In contrast to earlier studies, the findings of which are invariably significant, this study. The location variable (P3) had no statistically significant impact. Despite being easily accessible and including security indications and location techniques, P3 remains the most prominent signal. Additionally, islamic banks must make islamic banking systems and products available to the general public in order to gauge that population's interest in islamic banks. Keywords: Interests; Islamic Banking; Bacan.

The paper attempts to model the key drivers of credit risk for Islamic banks in Malaysia. This paper is motivated to introduce Islamic financing types (IFT) and banks ownership status (STATUS) as additional factors in investigating the key drivers. This study also investigates the level of credit risk between the crisis and non-crisis period. This study employs a panel data analysis method using generalized least squares (GLS) regression for random effect model. The dependent variable is credit risk which assumed to be a function of bank-specific variables and other potential variables that are ownership status, Islamic financing types and financial crisis. The sample of this study comprised of 160 observations for 15 full-fledged Islamic banks in Malaysia, covering the period of 2000 to 2016. The finding suggests that financing expansion, financing and capital buffer are amongst important drivers that significantly influence the level of credit risk of Malaysian Islamic banks. The estimation results of this study also suggest that any Islamic bank that offers equity-based financing (EBF) has significantly higher credit risk.

The current performance of Islamic banking is quite encouraging, but for the market share of Islamic banking, which is currently still relatively small, even though the majority of Indonesia's population is Muslim. Knowledge or literacy has a significant influence on people's interest in muamalah with Islamic banks. This paper tries to describe contemporary jurists' views regarding the law dealing with Islamic banks. Contemporary jurists allow muamalah with Islamic banks because deposits in Islamic banks are built on the principle of mudaraba and there is no usury on it, this is as expressed by Wahbah al-ZuhaylÄ«, usÄmuddÄ«n 'AfÄnah, al-DubyÄn, Al-Qará¸ÄwÄ«, Islam Web, Ibn BÄz, DÄirat al-IftÄ and DSN MUI. According to DSN MUI wadiah or deposits in Islamic banks are yad dhamÄnah not yad amanÄh and according to Adiwarman Karim Islamic banks are allowed to give bonuses to customers if they are not required in advance, i.e. the gift is a voluntary gift given by the bank as its policy. According to contemporary fukaha, the law of saving in Islamic banks can be recommended in order to implement and enforce Islamic values

The Small Sharia Bank Laboratory is a supporting and implementing facility for the Uin Sunan Ampel Surabaya program which is expected to be able to contribute to accelerating the development of sharia in Indonesia. Therefore, empowering the Mini Syariah Bank laboratory as a place to develop competencies both in the areas of intellectual, motor skills and skills in using Islamic banking media tools to increase the competency of Islamic finance and banking graduate students needs to be studied. This study aims to see the effect of promotion and knowledge on people's interest in making transactions at Mini Syariah Banks. The development of Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia has indeed experienced a significant increase, but this increase has not been accompanied by public knowledge about Islamic banks, especially in rural areas. So that in the end, many village people equate Islamic financial institutions with conventional financial institutions.

This study used 550 respondents from 26 provinces in Indonesia. The study develops a structural equation model (SEM) to achieve its purpose. The results show that attitudes, subjective norms, and perceptions of behavioral control affect people's interest in adopting Islamic banking services. Likewise, awareness, uncertainty, suitability, and relative advantage, affect the intention of the consumer to adopt Islamic banks' services. In contrast, religiosity does not affect community interest in adopting Islamic bank services. Further, normative beliefs affect subjective norms and self-efficacy, whereas facility conditions affect perceived behavior control of consumers' intention to adopt Islamic banking services. Attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavior control influence consumers' intention to adopt Islamic banking services. Accordingly, Islamic banks need to improve services to the public.
