Abstract

One of the empowerment of micro small businesses carried out by the Regional Government of Deli Serdang is the utilization of cassava as a raw material for agroindustry which has the potential to be developed and has a profitable market potential for MSMEs. Even cassava agroindustry commodities can be a source of income for farmers/entrepreneurs who support the movement of the regional economy. Therefore this study aims to analyze the income of MSMEs in Deli Serdang Regency. The population of this study were all cassava-based micro, small and medium agroindustry entrepreneurs in Pancur Batu District, Deli Serdang Regency. The sample was selected as many as 35 MSMEs that process cassava into opaque. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, field observations and literature study. The data analysis technique used is the cost, revenue, income and R/C analysis model. The results of the research show that variable costs are the biggest costs compared to other costs. The average cost of production incurred by MSMEs is Rp. 293,071,511 per month, the average income is Rp. 318,000,000 per month and the average income is Rp. 24,928,489 per month, with an R/C ratio of 1.08 which means that the cassava agroindustry is profitable or feasible to develop in the research area.
