Abstract

One of the aspects that determine the progress of a country is the education level of its citizens. Not of services to the needs of the educational facilities is caused in part by less uneven distribution of schools that are not in accordance with Act No. 20 of 2003. Through the indicator of the gross enrollment rate (GER) and indicator equal opportunity to learn, be able to formulate a plan to address the issue of equity in each education. Thus, it is necessary to review the evaluative against based on age distribution of educational facilities in the City of Tangsel. To evaluate the distribution of facilities (school) education in the form of spatial data is needed to view and mapping the distribution of educational facilities (schools) in Tangsel. The required spatial data can be displayed by relying on Geographic Information System (GIS). in this study researchers used the method to equalization APK learning and to the development of information systems using the methodology of development RAD (Rapid Application development), and processing the data using ArcGIS software. The results achieved in the form of a web-based spatial information system distribution points educational facilities in the City of Tangsel based on the number of school age.
