Abstract

An undergraduate course offered at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, is designed to take the student through all the steps necessary for the oral presentation of a seminar paper. The undergraduate is coached in library research methods, paper organization and content, problem analysis, and method of oral delivery. The importance of an introduction, visual aids, a summary, and clarity of exposition is stressed.
