Abstract

Background and Objectives: Association between the skin and the liver disease is well known. Out of various extrahepatic disorders, dermatological diseases occupy a central place and at times suggest etiology of disease. Besides the common cutaneous stigma of chronic liver diseases (CLD) other dermatoses are often associated and pose a challenge to gastroenterologist particularly when they are the predominant complaints. This study was aimed to study the cutaneous manifestations and associations of CLD, and any linkage with aetiology or degree of liver dysfunction.
