Abstract

Due to the defects of photovoltaic(PV) generation, microgrid is applied to eliminate resources' fluctuation. In this paper, a control operation strategy for DC microgrid with PV and hybrid energy storage system is proposed to stabilize bus voltage. According to state of charging(SOC) of lithium battery and the relationship between photovoltaic generation and loads, the microgrid operation is divided into four states and each state has their own control mode. With the operation information of central controller, the system can switch to certain control mode automatically. Finally, a DC microgrid is built in MATLAB/Simulink to validate the feasibility of this control operation strategy.
