Abstract
An iterative algorithm for extrapolating analog band-limited signals has been proposed by Papoulis and Gerchberg. <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">1</sup> By inserting a multiplication by a constant in the above algorithm, chosen to minimize the energy of the error in the extrapolation interval, aconsiderable speed up of its convergence has been achieved.
