Abstract

In partial-data superimposed training (PDST) scheme, pilot signals are superimposed to data symbols, which inevitably introduce interferences between them. In order to reduce these interferences, we propose an enhanced scheme, which shifts the positions of pilot signals and adds them onto the data symbols with the lowest power sum. Simulation results identify the availability of the proposed method in improving the accuracy of channel estimation and degrading the symbol error rate (SER).
