Abstract

AbstractNowadays, Millennials are good opinion leaders on technology because they are comfortable with new technology and social media. As Millennials gain popularity in Chennai, it is important to explore how the Chennai Millennials’ adoption behaviour of mobile wallets differs from the conceptual model developed for the study is based on the TAM that was tested in the study. The important variables taken into account by the study are perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitude, and intention towards adoption of Chennai Millennials towards mobile wallet adoption. The quantitative data was obtained by circulating online questionnaires (240) through various social media like Facebook and WhatsApp. SPSS was used to analyse the results. This research indicates that there is a positive influence of perceived ease on the intention of adoption. Significant determinants of intent to use mobile wallets were PEOU and PU.
