Abstract
With the development of integrated circuit (IC), power dissipation has become an important index of chip performance. This paper first discusses the sources and types of chip power dissipation, then introduces the methods of static power dissipation analysis and dynamic power dissipation analysis, and finally gives the power dissipation analysis and optimization methods of IC chip digital layout design stage.
