Abstract

The effect of amyl nitrite on human diabetics blood oxidation times was undertaken using nondiabetics blood as the control group. Based on a statistical analysis using Student’s t-test, human diabetics hemoglobin was found to be more susceptible to oxidation to methemoglobin compared to the control group (p<0.05).
