Abstract

Abstract. The yak is a mammal that lives in the highest altitude in the world except human beings. It is mainly produced in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau above 3,000 meters above sea level and can adapt to the high-cold ecological conditions. Yak milk production time is approximately from June to September each year. Yak milk is also known as “natural condensed milk”. It is an important raw material for processing food and dairy products for people of all ethnic groups in the plateau. At the same time, the nutritional content of yak milk is also microbial. Growth and reproduction provide a good nutritional basis Yak milk dry matter, protein, fat, lactose and mineral content is also higher than other milk(Li Y, Zhang L, Yun M, et al.2006) . Due to the complex topography of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the use of free-range methods for calves, conventional milking machinery cannot be flexibly used on the plateau. Herdsmen generally use artificial milking methods, which are labor-intensive, and health cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, it is necessary to design a yak milking machine to replace the manual milking work, improve work efficiency, reduce labor intensity, and ensure the hygiene of the milking process. Based on the research of a large amount of data, the paper identified the overall design of the yak milking machine and designed a small milking machine suitable for home use. The stress strength of the rack was checked and analyzed. The results showed that the yak milking machine The design meets the requirements and validates the design feasibility of the yak milking machine.
