Abstract

The volume of amniotic fluid in 64 patients during the second half of pregnancy, using P.A.H. has been previewed. A total of 95 determinations were performed. The importance of prospective studies and repeated determinations in individual patients is emphasized as being essential for the acquisition of valid data, not only in respect to normal pregnancy, but also in the presence of such complications as pre-eclampsia and hydramnios.
