Abstract

Data and ternary isotherms were obtained on the NH/sub 4/Fxcess solid UO/ sub 2/F/sub 2/ to solutions initially 0.5to 6 M in NH/sub 4/F. bringing to equilibrium. and determining the density and composition of the solution. The solid phase was identified by x-ray-diffraction analysis and found to be (NH/sub 4/)/sub 3/UO/sub 2/F/sub 5 when both UO/sub 2/F/sub 2/ and NH/sub 4/F were present in solution. (D.L.C.)
