Abstract

A gas-lift process of oil extraction is based on supply of high pressure gas into oil wells in order to increase well's production. The problems of optimal gas redistribution between gas-lift wells maximizing the wells productivity or reducing the oil cost are studied in this paper. These problems are formulated as nonlinear programming problems. The algorithms for search of global optimum built upon embedding of considered problems into a class of infinite-dimensional variational problems are considered.
