Abstract

The text tries to analyze the dynamics of the representation of suffering and massacres, focusing on the Rwanda Project created by the Chilean artist Alfredo Jaar. In particular this cycle of works want to reflect on the attempt to escape the spectacularization of war images, present in our contemporary society, through a subtle strategy of negating the image itself.
