Abstract

Andrei Gorzo and Mihai Iovănel reconstruct in the form of a dialogue the intellectual trajectory of the film critic Alex. Leo Șerban, an emblematic figure for the Romanian culture from the years 1990-2000. On this conversational support there are also evoked the ideological polarizations in Romania in recent decades, the evolution of film criticism in the post-communist period in parallel with the evolution of the cultural press, as well as the “cultural wars” either in mainstream or in some still little researched obscure niches.
