Abstract

ABSTRAKPembelajaran pada anak usia dini dituntuk yang bersifat menyenangkan, kreatif, dan inovatif sehingga mudah diingat khususnya dalam pengenalan warna. Hal ini memberikan stimulus anak usia dini dalam perkembangan kemampuan kognitifnya. Permasalahan yang umum adalah monotonnya alat permainan edukatif (APE) yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga dikembangkan APE dengan memanfaatkan limbah dari cangkang sawit. Sasaran kegiatan berjumlah 22 orang, yaitu peserta didik PAUD Al- Farhad Desa Tanjung Marwo, Kecamatan Muara Tembesi, Kabupaten Batanghari, Provinsi Jambi. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah membantu menstimulasi perkembangan kognitif anak melalui media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan mudah diingat oleh anak usia dini dengan memanfaatkan limbah dari cangkang sawit yang mudah didapatkan di lingkungan sekitar. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan melakukan demonstrasi langsung kepada peserta didik. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan ini anak usia dini menjadi mudah mengingat warna, dan aktif mengutarakan pendapatnya dengan APE limbah cangkang sawit. A common problem is the monotony of educational game tools used in the learning process, so educational game tools was developed by utilizing waste from palm kernel shells. The target of the activity was 22 people, namely Al-Farhad Early Childhood Education students, Tanjung Marwo Village, Muara Tembesi District, Batanghari Regency, Jambi Province. The aim of this community service is to help stimulate children’s cognitive development through learning media that is fun and easy for young children to remember by utilizing waste from palm shells which is easily available in the surrounding environment. Activities are carried out by conducting direct demonstrations to students. As a result of implementing this activity, young children can easily remember colors and actively express their opinions with palm shell waste educational game tools.
