Abstract

Abstract The results of a spatially extensive monitoring programme for gaseous fluorides are described for the area surrounding a major brickworks. Monthly mean concentrations of atmospheric fluoride ranged from 0.04 μg/m3 to 0.86 μg/m3 through the two-year programme of air sampling. Daily and seasonal variations are analysed together with spatial distributions in the region.
