Abstract
The European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS) held its 5th Spring Convention 20-22 April in Innsbruck, Austria. The focus of the meeting was cancer in elderly people (page 8). This topic has become quite a hot one with the development over the past decade of several societies dedicated to the merging of the two specialties: gerontology and oncology. But why all the interest in older adults with cancer?
