Abstract

Measurements of 141 Alpine Swifts captured in NE Spain are presented. The data are close to those of a population living in the western part of the country, but differ from Central European and Caucasian Populations. For the first time in a swift species, differences in bodymass and body condition between adults and second-year birds are reported.
