Abstract
By immobilizing Ag nanoparticles to UiO-66, a series of nanocatalysts (Ag/UiO-66) were synthesized and used as catalysts for oxidation of styrene. The catalytic efficiency could be optimized by altering Ag loadings of Ag/UiO-66, solvents, the molar ratios of styrene to tert-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) and reaction temperatures. Interestingly, the Ag loadings 1.86wt% of Ag/UiO-66 exhibited high conversion, selectivity and recyclability in the selective oxidation of styrene.
