Abstract

In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy decentralized control scheme is proposed for a class of uncertain nonlinear large-scale systems without measurements of states. Fuzzy logic systems are used to tackle unknown nonlinear functions, and fuzzy high-gain filters are first designed to estimate the immeasurable states, and then by using the fuzzy high-gain filters and based on the adaptive backstepping technique, adaptive fuzzy decentralized output feedback controllers are constructed by using the dynamic surface control (DSC) technique. It is proved that the proposed adaptive fuzzy decentralized control approach can guarantee all the signals in the closed-loop system are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded (SGUUB) and the tracking errors converge to a small neighborhood of origin. Simulation studies are included to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
