Abstract

Bubble temperatures at 94.7 kPa, over the entire composition range, are measured for the binary mixtures formed by cyclohexanone with acrylonitrile, carbontetrachloride, 2-cyanopyrazine, cyclohexane and 2-methylpyrazine. A Swietoslawski-type ebulliometer is used for the measurements. The liquid phase mole fraction–bubble temperature data are found to be well represented the Wilson model. Activity coefficients calculated from the model are presented.
