Abstract

The active control of the transmitted magnetic field a few millimeters away from a switch-mounted loop array is experimentally demonstrated in the 10 MHz band. Control voltage and driving voltage are individually applied to each switch via a bias circuit such that each switch-mounted loop element works in either the “on-state” or “off-state.” An analytical model that exploits a delta function to capture the multiple spikes in the magnetic field is presented to characterize the magnetic field behavior in the vicinity of the loop array.
