Abstract

The separation efficiency of dialkyl phosphoric acids for the lanthanides does not depend much on the structure, nor on the size of the alkyl group. The extraction efficiency is considerably lowered by branching of the alkyl group; for the same structure it is only insignificantly affected by an increase in the number of carbon atoms in the alkyl group.
