Abstract

This article discusses data on the physical and administrative structures of science and technology libraries which were collected by the Committee on the Comparison of Science and Technology Libraries, a standing committee of the Science and Technology section of the Association of College and Research Libraries. The collection of descriptive data was undertaken to determine what physical and administrative structures were prevalent among science/technology libraries. This information will serve as a basis for grouping and compaaring the statistical data that the Committee has compiled from previous surveys.
