Abstract

AC Domain hard red spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) exhibited high levels of pre-harvest sprouting tolerance and is adapted to the Canadian prairies. In Manitoba, the grain yield of AC Domain was 3.4 to 7.4% higher than the check cultivars, while in Saskatchewan it was 3.3 to 8% lower. AC Domain had shorter, stronger straw than the check cultivars. AC Domain is eligible for all grades of the Canada Western Red Spring (CWRS) wheat class.
