Abstract

Late Jurassic-Early Cretaceous microplankton abundance quantitatively evaluated in fourteen sections and appliedto palinspastic scheme of the Central Western Carpathians and combined with sedimentary rate zones gives support to conclusions on sea currents, upwelling and paleobiogeography of this area since middle Tithonian until late Hauterivian.
