Abstract

Cirrhosis is a crucial risk factor for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), with over 90% of HCC patients having underlying cirrhosis. An integrated multidisciplinary surveillance approach including artificial intelligence (AI) mediated quantitative image analysis, transcriptomics, and proteomics biomarkers will improve the early diagnosis of HCC in liver cirrhosis patients.
