Abstract
Interruption of vagus nerve signaling has long been associated with loss of appetite in humans, as well as weight loss or attenuation of weight gain in all species studied. In 2017, 20 subjects with Class I or Class II obesity underwent percutaneous CT-guided cryoablation of the posterior vagal trunk to decrease hunger. The purpose of this study was to ascertain and report long-term follow up of these subjects.
